Inviting bright minds
Do you want to push the boundaries of your profession and develop your excellence in an open, collaborative and empowering culture? We work to create a sustainable future and our inspiring projects and innovative solutions aim to set the standard among our peers. You will join a global company that has been growing successfully since its founding in 1945. Together, we lead and leave a positive impact on societies, companies and people around the world.

You will join our department Monitoring and Analyses of Existing Structures
As our new Team Lead you will be part of a technically strong department that is pushing the boundaries for the use of existing bridges and structures through monitoring and advanced structural analysis e.g. probabilistic approaches. We are 23 employees in total and we are located in Vejle and Copenhagen – and we are seeking new colleagues to our Vejle office. Technical curiosity, innovation and a strong team spirit are embedded as our key department values. Typical projects would consist of static calculations of concrete and steel, reliability-based analyses, dynamics, and monitoring – and in the most challenging projects a combination of all the above. For instance, now we are rehabilitating two old arch bridges of cultural heritage from the 19th century made of riveted steel, and trying to prove that the Vejlefjord Bridge can carry an extra lane of traffic. To a smaller extent, we are also doing design and strengthening projects, like the Dybbølsbro bicycle bridge and the rehabilitation of the South Stand at Brøndby Stadium.

Your key tasks and responsibilities will be:

  • Working independently on projects as discipline lead
  • Engagement with clients
  • Structural analysis of existing concrete and steel structures
  • Rehabilitation of existing bridges and structures
  • Recruitment
  • Developing and expanding our team in Vejle

Your starting point for constant growth
From the moment you join Ramboll, we will support your personal and professional development so that you grow with the company. For this role, we believe your starting point is:

  • 7 years’ experience (or more) working as a civil engineering consultant
  • Experience working with existing bridges and structures
  • Solid communication skills in Danish and English. German would be a great plus.
  • Good understanding of statics and structural analysis
  • Management experience is a great plus but not a requirement.

Knowledge on geotechnics, dynamics, monitoring and/or reliability-based analysis is an advantage, but not a requirement.

Personal qualities that will help you succeed in this role include:

You thrive working independently and take responsibility of your projects and your team. You are outgoing, optimistic and sociable, open to new input and willing to learn. And you are client-centric, wanting to assist the clients and colleagues the best way possible.
