Technology Execution Lead in AWM & PeB

About this opportunity

We are looking for a Team Lead to join the AWM & PeB Technology Execution team as the current Team leaders are moving on internally. As the Leader for employees, you will play a valuable role in providing our customers the best banking experience in the world. You will be a leading person for a team that amongst others has the responsibilities for Nordea's contact centre platform (Genesys), as well as physical and digital branch solutions in the Nordics.

You will be working with innovative technologies and concepts across the bank, enabling a future core competitive environment. The bank is well on its digitalization journey and the leader we are looking for will push towards a DevOps and Customer Reliability Engineering (SRE) approach.

As the Technology Execution Lead, you will be expected to handle a portfolio of applications and work very closely together with the Technology Service team for support of your applications in scope.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Leading the team - taking responsibility for delivering a strong business result and driving the functional excellence together with the Development Team
  • Providing technical expertise on complex technical issues and also guiding your team members in how to solve technical challenges in your area
  • Creating and implementing operational plans and setting concrete targets for the team, as well as for each employee. You will be ensuring that your direct reports understand how their targets and plans are linked to the strategy
  • Implementing and optimising processes, products and concepts and facilitate continuous improvements, hence also delivering on simplification in a DevOps environment
  • Ensuring a simplified, optimised and compliant application portfolio, making sure to meet regulatory and governance requirements
  • Providing timely and well-documented feedback and coaching. Assessing performance within the team and showing direction that enables the team to cooperate and execute
  • Travelling is expected occasionally

  • Have drive to achieve goals and know how to coach and give feedback to others

Your experience and background:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Good organisational skills
  • Excellent communication skills with very good level of English
  • Leadership experience in a international setting and with multicultural awareness
  • Knowledge about Genesys contact center platform will be an additional advantage
