With our newly established digital hub in Copenhagen, we are looking to develop some outstanding products whilst continuing the diverse and engaging culture we have built!

Core Responsibilities

  • Design, build and maintain web solutions end-to-end.
  • Responsible for the solution design and build the best-in-class solutions in close collaboration with Product- and Design Lead
  • Provide technical leadership for the product team to secure delivery of optimized and proven technical solutions.
  • Explore emerging technologies and methods, seeing opportunities that can help us improve and move our solutions to the next level.
  • Actively participate and contribute to cross organizational initiatives, sharing knowledge and building communities
  • Create and apply security/privacy best practices from ideation to production release and beyond.

AFOL and Family Technology is part of the Consumer and Creator Technology organization within Digital Technology. We are responsible for creating consumer facing digital products directed towards our Grown-Up audience.

As Engineering Lead on one of our new strategic products you will play a pivotal role in the success of the product and the team, together with the Product Manager and the Design Lead.

You will work on experiences that will reach millions of Adult Fans of LEGO worldwide, and you will join a highly skilled international
team that eats agility for breakfast and values individual talents and team spirit, where playing and having fun is an integrated part of
working.

Do you have what it takes?
Besides being passionate about driving technology, through technical leadership on engineering and architectural practices, the ideal candidate is a good communicator knowing how to involve people to take- and deliver on complex decisions!

Proficiency in English, written and oral, is required. We would love to meet applicants from diverse backgrounds.

Your superpowers will likely include:

  • A software engineering background with 6+ years’ experience either as full stack, backend, or web engineer.
  • Proven ability (3+ years) in leading an end-to-end feature development team through modern agile methodologies.
  • Understanding Domain Driven Design and loosely coupled systems.
  • Experience with JavaScript, TypeScript or similar programming languages and feel comfortable adapting depending on how to create the best and most valuable solutions.
  • Experience with Cloud native development and Managed Cloud infrastructure (e.g. DNS, CDN, Load balancing etc.)

Great if you also have:

  • Knowledge of consuming and providing APIs
  • Experience with frameworks and tools such as React, VueJS, less, scss, Redux, GraphQL, NodeJS
  • Experience with one or more compiled languages. I.e., Python, Java, C# or Go.
  • Experience with consumer facing products and experiences
