You will report to the Head of QC HSE working out of our Production plant in Frederikssund.

The position
As Senior HSE professional, you will be project lead on different HSE projects and programs taking place in the production plant in Frederikssund.

You will support, drive and deploy the corporate HSE strategy alongside local strategies, lead improvement projects and actions relevant for the Topsoe Frederikssund site in Denmark.

You will be lead on HSE projects involving changes to core processes and to the safety culture - striving for Zero Harm through continuous improvements. Your knowledge about process safety and chemical safety will be applied.

By making use of your HSE experience, HSE skills and your ability of ‘seeing the big picture’, you will influence decisions and direction setting and ensure good stakeholder management and involvement of all relevant parties.

You will collaborate with department managers, technicians, engineers, project managers, employees and many more – the range of whom you will be interacting with is wide.

You will work closely with the rest of the HSE team, management teamsand local departments ensuring bottom-up processes, involvement- and stakeholder management.

Key responsibilities:

• Provide risk management and risk assessment expertise to projects, processes and construction projects
• Develop, lead, and implement strategic HSE improvement projects
• Lead and/or facilitate incident investigation by using fishbone analysis, “5 x why” or similar methods
• Ensure follow-up and evaluation of improvement projects and action points.
• Lead and execute HSE campaigns
• Conduct internal audits ensuring HSE compliance
• Develop and execute HSE trainings and programs
• Collaborate with HSE authorities
• Collaborate with relevant stakeholders throughout the organization to achieve our ambition of Zero Harm

Candidate Profile
We are looking for a highly motivated project lead, with a solid HSE toolbox. We expect you to have a minimum of 5 years’ experience from a similar role. You have a relevant scientific background preferably at master level.

You have good experience with HSE risk assessment, running hazard awareness programs, leading HSE incident investigation, methods of doing root cause analysis – and you are familiar running internal audits/compliance checks. Good understanding of the Danish Health and Safety legislation.

The core skills are mandatory to fill the role - but also the ability to thrive in a dynamic environment and embrace new challenges with a steep learning curve and tight deadlines.

As a person you are structured, systematic, mature and outgoing. You obviously speak and write excellent Danish and English and an experienced Microsoft Office user, - it is an advantage if you are familiar with SAP HSE.
