Types of assignments
You will be part of the core sales team. Most of our experts have daily contact with our customers through projects and new opportunities. In that way, we all contribute to our business development. We expect you to have experience with:

  • Strategic sales of consulting services and projects within our Life Science departments and across the entire pharmaceutical and life sciences field
  • Assist with the development of marketing strategy, business plan, and marketing in Life Science
  • Responsible for own customer portfolio to ensure order intake and develop a pipeline of clients and orders
  • Taking responsibility for the development of Key Account Management for own clients
  • Support, develop, and actively participate in sales with other experts in Life Science
  • Responsible for strengthening the current sales culture for teams, which is based on an active listening process and with a focus on close customer relationships
  • Achieve expected growth targets and strengthen sales across the Pharma and Life Science business area
  • Assist in ensuring the development of Business Intelligence to support the development of Life Science and Pharma in NIRAS
  • In close cooperation with the Market Director, develop, manage, and support sales in Life Science and across Niras

Your professional profile:
You are motivated by customer contact and passionate about cultivating our customer relationships and market. You have insight into CAPEX and thus, can perform project sales and consulting sales within the Life Science industry.

You work strategically and structured, which means that sales activities are prioritized based on a (long-term) planned sales process.

You are motivated by working with sales, understand the customer's organization, and can see it from the customer's point of view.

You're comfortable working in sales from both a "Hunter" and a "Farmer" approach.

It will be an advantage if you have knowledge and networks within the Life Science and Pharma industry.

Your personal strengths
As a person, you are a team player, enjoy leading the way, and are also good at creating a joint team spirit. You use motivation as a tool and are persuasive in your communication. You have a positive impact, a confident look, and a good drive. You are focused and worked in a structured way with several projects at once. You are able to drive processes all the way and good at "tying ends together.” In your way of working you appreciate freedom with responsibility.

You thrive in a work context that is constantly in motion, where the customers often decide the daily planning.
