With direct reference to our Head of Product Portfolio Management, you will become part of a team consisting of nine engaged, ambitious and great colleagues who always strive to bring out the best in each other. Together the team is responsible for the commercialization of a portfolio within intelligent solutions for managing water consumption in utilities on a global scale. In addition, the team is responsible for executing our product roadmaps as well as assisting business development worldwide.
Pricing Manager with focus on global pricing strategy
As our new Pricing Manager you will be responsible for analyzing competitor pricing and matching this information with relevant market insight with the purpose of determining the ideal target price for products and services on specific markets. Furthermore, you will be supporting our product management team creating value propositions, as well as, providing your inputs to strategic marketing activities.
More specific you will be responsible for:
• Initiate and track pricing initiatives to improve profitability, win-rate, and volume
• Ownership of Value Based pricing process in Kamstrup Water product portfolio and training of Commercial Product managers
• Support the portfolio team by defining value propositions and pricing during new product development
• Proactively tracking of products to identify opportunities of optimizing business value of product portfolio
• Participate in comprehensive strategic projects securing strategic compliance to obtain Kamstrup’ s ambitious targets
• Streamline and automate business reporting that ensures the right focus for the business
To succeed with this, it is important that you master the complexity of multiple markets, products, services, solutions, customer segments and the financial toolbox to transfer this into simple operational methods and tools.
Your personality is important to us
You must be able to take leadership in your field and motivate, train, and engage others to ensure commitment. You are outgoing and a strong communicator and you have the ability to build positive relations and communicate clearly to relevant stakeholders. You have an analytical mindset and can draw conclusions from large datasets and a commercial understanding and experience in pricing products that can ensure profitability.
You hold a Master’s degree within finance, economics or similar. In addition, it is a requirement that you have minimum 3-5 years of experience from a similar position in a global B2B business or in a leading consultancy firm. From your experience you have gained solid knowledge within pricing and complex analysis. In addition, it is a requirement that you have experience with:
• Developing global & regional pricing strategies
• Maintaining and optimizing portfolio pricing
• Financial reporting on top-management level
You are fluent in English both written and oral. Danish will be an asset.
