With direct reference to our Head of Sales DK, You will work closely together with the Submetering Segment Manager and the Global Channel Partner Manager in building business plans with selected channel partners and customers in the industry. In the Submetering segment, we use intelligent metering, which makes it easier for residential and commercial property management to support the green transition and live up to current and future regulations. Based on remote metering, it is possible to maintain a complete overview of their water, heat/cooling, and electricity consumption.
Key Account Manager with a focus on both external and internal stakeholders
In the position as Key Account Manager, you will become part of a team of 7, responsible for building and executing the channel strategy focusing on expanding the market for submetering business as well as reducing complexity and cost to serve.
More specifically your primary responsibilities will be:
- Contributing to the development of the channel partner strategy based on the global partnership framework and execute on the strategy in Denmark
- Managing partner accounts and ensuring that business plans are being created, followed up on and executed by involved internal stakeholders, including budget and follow ups
- Working closely with internal sales on optimizing administration and reducing transaction cost
- Continuously evaluating new potential partners and when relevant, building business plans with them
- Participate in relevant fairs and exhibitions with the purpose of strengthening our submetering business
In the job you can expect around 30 travel days per year, of which the majority will be in Denmark.
Personality matters
As a person you are outgoing and able to build strong relationships at all levels of the organization. You have a strong commercial mindset as well as negotiation skills, and you are comfortable with providing advice to senior managers. You are driven by creating results and possess the patience to create long term results. You are a strong communicator and able to work with sales, engineers and technical leads while having the ability to engage and build trust.
Furthermore, you possess a relevant educational background at minimum on a Bachelor level with at least 3-5 years demonstrated experience working with partner sales. More specifically, it is a requirement that you:
- Have a proven record leading sales and account management in an B2B Company
- Have demonstrated strong commercial results in a similar role
- A strategic and analytical mindset to plan for success - working with partners is a long-term game
- Know about technical partnerships and knows how to translate the partner's goals into concrete measures
You are fluent in both written and spoken Danish and English.
