Therefore, we are looking for a Datacenter network and hosting administrator to join our Core IT Services team.

With reference to our Head of Core IT Services, you will become part of our internal IT organisation, which enables all Kamstrup employees in their daily work. Our IT department consists of 60+ dedicated colleagues supporting all of Kamstrup’s divisions globally. You can expect a grounded tech-savvy team, that is characterised by mutual respect, professionalism, and collaboration. We prioritize knowledge sharing in a fast-paced work environment, and we are looking for equal-minded colleagues, who like having fun along the way. More specifically, you will be a key player in operations of our network infrastructure supporting both Kamstrup’s services for customers as well as Kamstrup internal infrastructure globally.

A job with focus on datacenter operations and professional growth
In the position as datacenter and network administrator, your primary responsibility will be to support and develop the ACl platform and a mix of firewall types with a special focus on supporting Kamstrup’s Solution and Service Delivery division, who directly supports Kamstrup’s customers. On top of your operational tasks, you will be a key internal advisor for Kamstrup’s customer systems, where you will act as an important link between Kamstrup’s IT department and our customers’ network solutions.

You will also become involved with the development of Kamstrup’s global datacenter infrastructure, supporting our global growth across all divisions. If you are not already an ACI or SDA specialist, we are ready to invest in developing your capabilities. Your mindset, personality and strong general skillset in Cisco networking are the most important factors to us.

More specifically, you will be responsible for:

• Performing maintenance of network infrastructure with an emphasis on ACI and firewalls
• Analyzing business requirements to ensure better alignment in the development of networking services
• Performing troubleshooting and resolve network related problems on day to day basis across a wide range of infrastructure components
• Providing remote or onsite technical support

Personality matters
We are looking for a talented Datacenter network and hosting administrator. We imagine that you have an educational background within IT, but it is not essential. We do however value relevant general experience with Cisco networking in large scale or complex networks and a strong track-record. We are searching for tech-savvy talents with a strong desire and will to take their capabilities to the next level. Cisco certifications are highly relevant, but not a requirement.

At Kamstrup you will be working both with traditional Cisco technologies and new. It is a major plus if you have experience with the following technologies:

• Cisco ACl
• Cisco SDA
• Cisco Firepower!

As a person, you are ambitious and have a structured and analytical approach to problem solving. You take initiative and have the courage to challenge status quo, when it makes sense. You thrive in a complex organisation, and your communication skills enable you to navigate successfully with many stakeholders, deadlines, and timelines. As you will be working closely together with colleagues, we imagine that you prefer collaboration and knowledge-sharing too.

It is a requirement that you are fluent in English, both written and spoken. Danish will be an advantage.
