Therefore, we are looking for a Senior Sales Managers to join New Project Sales Team.
With reference to our Vice President, you will become part of the Global Sales Team in Electricity, who is responsible for New Project Sales, After Sales and Partner Sales globally. We aspire to make Kamstrup the preferred partner to customers for both electricity meters and support solutions. Your nearest team, New Project Sales, consists of dedicated colleagues who value an informal work environment based on openness, trust, and a great sense of humour.
A job with focus on new project and complex solution selling
In the position as Senior Sales Manager you will play a crucial role in realizing our mission; to broaden the reach in new markets within and outside Europe while maintaining a strong position in our existing markets. Your primary objective will be to secure new projects in new European markets.
More specifically, you will be:
- Responsible for opportunities and for managing the sales process in the bidding and negotiation phases for large EU tender driven projects, in close collaboration with our product and bid management teams
- Assuring that bids and contracts are within mandates, in accordance with legal requirements and our commercial policy
- Defining the tactical planning together with Sales Management, for markets and opportunities in both the tender and negotiation phase
- Owning the customer relationship for the assigned opportunities including the development of account plans
In the job, you can expect up to 100 travel days per year.
Personality matters
We are looking for a Senior Sales Manager who succeeds to navigate and deliver results effectively, despite complexity and ambiguity in long-term sales processes and projects. We imagine that you have an educational background in business, engineering, or similar combined with professional experience from contractual solution sales - from industries such as renewable energy, power plant infrastructure, construction industry, or similar. Experience with commercial bidding and negotiation of large complex projects is considered an advantage.
As a person you possess excellent communication and negotiation skills. You can influence C-level customers and ensure buy-in from internal stakeholders whilst working effectively in our matrix organization. Through your high drive and strong sense of ownership, you know how to prioritize your time and when to walk the “extra mile” for the customer to deliver on your promises.
It is a requirement that you speak and write English fluently.
