The automotive industry is transforming as electrification, new design trends and sustainability push the envelope for the entire business. Working with customers like BMW, Audi, Porsche and Volvo, we at TAJCO have to stay razor sharp and ahead of the game.

TAJCO is practically buzzing right now, as we explore new materials and processes for a sustainable product portfolio that could potentially disrupt the market for exterior trims.

We are super busy, and we need someone to help us steer our business development initiatives with a firm hand.

This role offers a unique opportunity to dive into the automotive industry and work with the big brands. You’ll be part of the build-up of production and industrialisation of our new portfolio within an entirely new business area.

These are some of the tasks you’d be responsible for:

• Running various business development projects to verify feasibility and prove business cases.
• Preparing industrialisation of new products and business areas in cooperation with the rest of the Business Development team.
• Keeping track of projects and make sure that we move forward with high momentum and a high degree of professionalism.
• Coordinating activities internally and with external suppliers and partners.
• Updating action plans and milestones, which will create a foundation for management reporting.

You’d be part of our small Business Development team whose purpose it is to create organic growth for TAJCO via the development of new products and business areas. It’s exciting stuff!

Who are you?
We imagine that you have a minimum of three years of experience in project management positions where you’ve worked with product launches and engineering.
You have a solid, fundamental technical understanding.
You demonstrate strong skills in presentation, coordination, decision making and negotiation. Experience from the automotive industry is certainly a big +.
As a person, you have an entrepreneurial mindset, and you’re persistent when obstacles show up on your path. You’re creative, proactive and flexible. You’ll be part of an intercultural team, and we’ll rely on your ability to work with us as well as run with your own responsibilities.

We expect that you are well-versed in the Microsoft Office suite and that you master the project management tools necessary to do your job, for example Gantt Project or Stage-Gate. Also, you must command the English language at negotiation level.

Your educational background is less important, we picture that you’re someone who has a project management certification combined with a technical experience.
