ABB Robotics develops, manufactures, and markets robots and associated control systems, software, arc welding products, tracks, and motor packages. A clear focus on automated solutions helps manufacturers improve productivity, product quality and safety in the work environment through automation. The robots and robotic are sold via local ABB companies, as well as via independent systems integrators and OEM companies. In the role of Global Sales support specialist, you will join our global Commercial and Pricing Excellence team, a part of the global Marketing & Sales function. The primary focus is to support our sales organization in the quotation and order processes and be the technical and commercial interface to the production units (PDP and EDP). You will work in close collaboration with the sales organization and the production unit, you will know the markets, our products, and the upcoming projects. Global Sales support is a central function that work with many stakeholders as Global and Front-end Sales, Production, Customer service, System business and Global solution center. You should be able and must like to be engaged in many activities in parallel and value the cooperation within the team as well with other functions. The Pricing excellence team belong to same organization and have many overlapping activities that make collaboration very close. This role reports to the EMEA Sales support team leader, the manager will be the Commercial and Pricing Excellence manager for the EMEA region.
Your responsibilities
- CPE specialist for a subset of sales organizations within Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA) market.
- Support Technically and Commercially the Sales organization in the quotation and ordering process.
- Be the technical and Commercial interface to the production unit (PDP and EDP)
- Supporting sales organizations on non-standard requests related to delivery, transports, and other commercial terms
- Manage quotations and order for Customized products
- End-to-End profitability evaluation.
- Collaborate with Price management on preparation and follow-up of country specific pricing plans, local pricing policies and processes.
- Support Sales organization with price analysis and optimization for specific deals.
- Drive and participate to improvements initiatives within global M&S organization.

Your background
- Good technical competences, preferably in robotics, automation, or machines.
- Customer focus and business understanding.
- Understanding of marketing and sales processes.
- Analytics mind with good computer skills and master tools like Excel.
- Result oriented, good in execution, transforming ideas into projects and results.
- Good problem solver who can work independently when needed and who also has a high level of social competence and a good ability for teamwork. Thrive in a leading role where you get to take responsibility and initiative.
- Fluent in English, written and spoken.
- Experience in Value-based Selling or Pricing is considered a plus.
