DevOps Engineer

We are looking for DevOps engineers to drive NNIT and our clients towards the future of IT.

You will have the opportunity to take part in one of NNITs rapidly growing DevOps units as a DevOps engineer.

We advocate DevOps culture and tooling to clients as well as NNIT’s own development teams and provide the advisory and technical implementation of all aspects of DevOps like continuous integration, continuous delivery, automation, containerization, infrastructure and configuration as code, cloud-native tools and applications, automated testing and feedback loops.

Your responsibilities

• Solving Incidents and Service request from NNIT’s KPS customers (KPS is NNIT’s defined Kubernetes Platform Service)
• Perform KPS upgrades (Applications defined in the CIL of the KPS e.g. Openshift, Rancher, ArgoCD etc.)
• Optimize the KPS Operation
• Deliver on Kubernetes Application Service (KAS)
• Building automated solutions for our NNIT or our customers as a technical consultant
• Work on the creation of scalable CI/CD pipelines
• Analysis of available technological solutions
• Creating a prototype of a future product for evaluation
• Testing at different levels
• Search and elimination of errors
• Incorporating the best DevOps capabilities into development
• Integration of solutions for continuous deployment
• Technical DevOps consultancy, advising our customers in their DevOps journey and implementing the necessary tooling and techniques
• Development of the full life cycle of software or applications with automation tools

Your qualifications

• At least two years of experience from a technical/engineering position as an operations specialist, operations engineer, a DevOps engineer, Site reliability engineering (SRE), or similar
• Experience with automation (automated deployments, testing, etc.)
• You are a experienced within some of the following: GitOps, Kubernetes (Openshift, Rancher), HELM, Azure Cloud, Azure DevOps (Pipelines, Keyvault...), ArgoCD, Ansible, Linux administration Advanced/Senior level.
• Ability to analyze and adapt code
• Coding and code reading skills
• Deep knowledge of DevOps and its tools
• Experience with continuous integration
• The ability to transfer and deploy the necessary components of the product
• You have experience with scripting in one of the following: Bash, Python, Powershell
• You can reconcile the concepts of Agile, ITIL, and DevOps within both a technical context and a business context
• Curios, takes on responsibility and a team player
• Analytical thinking and proactivity
• Nice to have: Completed Microsoft Azure courses, CKA certification, Terraform, A Master's or Bachelor's degree in computer science
