Job Description & Summary
Job Description
In short, we are the ones our customers go to when they need help with the transition to become a successful, sustainable company. As a team, we bring everyone's strengths into play and take responsibility for delivering sustainable results for our customers and to society. We lead by example and always try to create a balance in the opportunities so that everyone can learn and develop in a sustainable way. We face challenges with an open mind and accept mistakes as a part of learning. We love going to work because of what we do and the people we work with. This is how we create success together.
We are growing
There is a great demand for our sustainability advisory and assurance service and we are therefore expanding our team. We have offices in Hellerup and Aarhus and our team consists of more than 85 committed employees.
Responsibilities
If you have what it takes, you will be responsible for managing customer tasks and upskilling team members in your area of expertise from start to finish. You will work closely with both advisory and assurance teams providing subject matter expertise directly and indirectly to our clients for engagements relating to the new CSRD and CSDDD regulation. This will likely mean supporting project teams on double materiality assessments, regulatory ESRS gap assessments and ESRS assurance engagements. You will be expected to become a readily available resource for answering project teams’ client questions within your area of expertise. You might also be expected to upskill on other nature specific regulation and standards such as the EUDR, SBTN and TNFD.
Qualifications
We are particularly interested in hearing from you if you have experience or education within climate change, biodiversity and water. You have at least three years experience as a researcher, internal analyst or project manager within these subject matter areas or have a sustainability consulting background. If you also have experience in handling and verifying ESG data, corporate reporting and developing technology platforms, that is an added plus.
You probably have:
- A relevant academic education (M.Sc or PhD) in climate change, sustainability, engineering or natural sciences. This could also be economics, business economics, finance or law where you have extensive work experience in environmental aspects of ESG
- Experience with ESG reporting, including CSRD and the EU taxonomy
- A strong professional foundation with expertise in the various facets of sustainability in companies
- Experience as a project manager and/or consultant
- The desire to learn, the belief that things can succeed and the ability to keep a cool head and a warm heart.
