Location: - Burton (With occasional travel to Northampton Brewery)

Working Hours – 40
Shift Pattern: -08:00-17:00

Carlsberg Marston’s Brewing Company (CMBC) is one of the leading, historic brewers in the UK. Formed out of a joint venture between Carlsberg UK and Marston’s PLC, we combine over 300 years of shared values, history, and heritage in UK brewing.

Due to an internal move, we are now looking to recruit a Project Engineering Manager, reporting into the Site Engineering Manager in the delivery of capex projects across the Burton Brewery.

What will you be doing?

• To lead and support design concepts bringing to life viable solutions in order to ensure drive change / improvements.
• Support the integration of projects into the business, liaising with the operational management teams to ensure smooth implementation.
• Responsible for the design of process and line installations via assisting with scoping, planning and execution of multiple projects within the remit of the role.
• Responsible for ensuring compliance on all levels – design concept and COM standards, procurement, project management (8 step model) and execution (Stage & Gate, LOTO)
• Promote a safe working environment by ensuring full compliance with Carlsberg SHE and LOTO policy / process.
• Risk assess, conduct RAMS reviews, issue permits and ensure appropriate isolations as required to ensure safe engineering activity deployment.
• Liaise with suppliers and manage on-site contractors ensuring full compliance of site rules / expectations

What are we looking for?

• Qualified to HNC level or equivalent in an engineering discipline or have significant experience and a proven record of delivering projects within an FMCG company
• Basic knowledge and experience of applying LeanTPM philosophies, tools and techniques
• Basic experience or knowledge of engineering within FMCG, Packaging or Brewing environments.
• Excellent communication skills with both internal and external stakeholders and an ability to work with individuals, teams and management at all levels of the organisation.
• Proactive attitude and ability to multitask different projects at once.
• Full UK Driving License
• Full UK working rights.
