We are looking for a Security Advisor to join our Global Information Security team at Novo Nordisk. The position
As our Information Security Advisor, you will:

• Be part of and collaborate close with the team of security advisors working across the areas of Research and Development
• Provide security advisory, risk management, and governance support to line of business and Business IT areas
• Identify and advise on mitigation of information security risks, aligning them with business objectives
• Advise the Line of Business on integrating security into business processes
• Act as a security advisor in strategic projects involving data, digital, AI, and other emerging technologies

Candidate profile
We expect you have Master’s Degree in IT, Data Science, Information Security or other relevant fields.

In addition, we want you to:

• Have 5+ years or relevant experience in assessing information security architectures or performing threat modelling
• Have a good business understanding of research and development environments
• Facilitate a continuous engagement with stakeholders - both leaders and specialists
• Apply your expertise on how to secure information across clouds, computers, networks, and operating systems in the context of business processes
• Perform risk assessments, to identify and manage information security risks

As a person you are a great communicator who prefers collaboration with your colleagues, managers and stakeholders. You are a problem-solver and have a willingness to continuously learn and stay updated with the latest security trends.

Department overview
The Global Information Security Advisory department is based in Digital, Data and IT (DD&IT) in Denmark. You will be part of a global information security community with colleagues located primarily in Denmark, USA and India. Our team consists of leading experts in various areas ranging from network security, white hat hacking, cloud security, cryptography, security operations, Acquisitions & Integrations, to manufacturing security and security risk management and governance.

Global Information Security is partnering with the line of business across the value chain to build security into the business processes. This is done in collaboration with partners in other specialist areas including Enterprise Architects and Data Specialist. As security partners we engage to understand the direction and priorities in line of business to identify risks and manage these in collaboration with our stakeholders. We have security partners working in different parts of the value chain. This role is intended to focus on the areas of Research and Development.
