Description
We are looking for an experienced Project Director to be part of the COO Office in the Novo Nordisk Foundation. Your focus will be on the Green Tripartite agreement - a framework agreement between the government and the Novo Nordisk Foundation.

The Green Tripartite Agreement, Agreement for a Green Denmark, paves the way for a historic rethinking of how we use Danish land. The goal is to make Denmark an international role model for sustainable land management, where nature and drinking water resources are protected and developed for the benefit of future generations. At the same time, the vision is that this should be done in a way that supports an increasingly sustainable, high-tech, and land-efficient agricultural production, ensuring that Denmark continues to have a competitive food industry with attractive business potential and jobs.

The Foundation will play a crucial role in making this vision a reality and will support specific projects and initiatives that can significantly contribute to ambitious land conversion for the benefit of nature, biodiversity, and citizens throughout Denmark.

The job
You will be reporting directly to our COO, Søren Nedergaard.

As our new Project Director, your main tasks are to, but not be limited to:

• Take full responsibility for the implementation of NNF's framework agreement with the government regarding the foundation's contribution to the green tripartite agreement, cf. "Framework Agreement on Nature Restoration in Denmark."
• Be responsible for dialogue with civil servants in relevant ministries, including the newly established Ministry for the Green Tripartite.
• Manage external communication about NNF's work related to the Green Tripartite in close collaboration with Corporate Affairs.
• Develop a plan for the implementation of NNF's contributions, including signature projects that can support the implementation of the green tripartite in collaboration with partners, other NGOs, and research and knowledge institutions.
• Be responsible for dialogue with other private foundations about nature restoration within the framework of agricultural land conversion.
• Ensure overall financial management of the grant.
• Must set relevant milestones and ensure the achievement of KPIs for the implementation of the framework agreement.

Professional and personal qualifications
We are looking for a person with a strong dedication to the project and who is motivated by working across the Novo Nordisk Foundation as well as engaging with multiple external stakeholders.

You have several years of relevant experience in working with private foundations concerning nature restoration.
Furthermore, we expect that you have:

• A relevant master’s degree and PhD in business, economics, political science or other relevant field.
• Excellent collaboration skills across the organization, fostering effective teamwork and communication
• Excellent stakeholder management skills
• Extensive experience in working with private foundations about nature restoration within the framework of agricultural land conversion
• Excellent collaboration skills working across programme areas in the NNF e.g. Bio-technology and Innovation
• Excellent communication skills as well as excellent verbal and written skills in English.
• Advanced and experienced user skills of Excel and Power Point.
