What you will get to do
Based in either our Copenhagen or Santiago office you will be part of a global team whilst collaborating with colleagues from various departments worldwide. This role offers the opportunity to gain broad exposure across the Finance function. As a Business Control Graduate, you will be fully integrated into the team and take on a wide range of responsibilities, including:

  • Contributing to the monthly financial closing process, working with the team to ensure accuracy and timely completion
  • Collaborating on financial reporting and controlling activities between operational systems and the ERP system
  • Providing key insights by preparing and updating data and graphs associated with management report material
  • Facilitating data collection and working closely with auditors to ensure compliance
  • Participating in various ad-hoc projects and tasks to drive continuous improvements across the business

For the right candidate, there might be a possibility to continue after the 12-month Graduate period and/or rotate to a different department.

To succeed in the job

You have recently completed a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, International Business, or International Shipping and Trade. You must have an excellent numerical and analytical mindset, and a broad understanding of working with analyses and empirical data.

Furthermore, we are looking for the following qualifications and competencies:

  • Responsible, structured and detail-oriented
  • Able to meet deadlines manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • A strong user of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
  • Strong digital flair and interest
  • Proactive and full of initiative
  • Fluent in oral and written English as this is our corporate language
  • Knowledge or experience within accounting, finance and/or shipping is a plus, but is not a requirement
  • A residence and work permit allowing you to work in your preferred job location
