Device Lab Supporter and Device Supporter, Device Development and Support

Are you a dedicated and experienced technical specialist? Do you want to join a team of engineers developing and supporting new medical devices and combination products? Are you ready to take charge of our newly established mechanical test lab?
The position
As Device Lab Supporter, you will become an important contributor in the Device Development and Support team, consisting of engineers that performs device development, device testing, device life cycle management, design transfer to our production site as well as technical support to our production site in Madrid.

In this role, your task will be to ensure that the device lab is GxP compliant. You will participate in the development process and be responsible for:

• Daily operations of our test lab for device combination products.
• Ensuring that all equipment is registered and always validated/calibrated.
• Performing testing of medical devices being part of device combination products.
• Assist in providing solutions to technical and/or quality issues.
• Provide technical support, advice and/or assistance to the Device Development and Support team and across the organization as required.
• Provide technical support in relation to Supplier Management activities.
• Performing Change Management activities.

Your profile
Educationally, you bring a technical background within testing, measurements, or mechanics as technician or an engineer. You have experience with GMP/GxP (or similar) requirements for test equipment, maintenance, and validation/re-validation.

Moreover, we expect that you:

• Are structured and systematic.
• Thrive in a small dynamic team of highly qualified employees all with a deep technical background and understanding.
• Have previous working experience from the Pharmaceutical Device Industry (or similar), preferably with experience within device development, device testing and production facilities.
• Have a proactive, curious, and positive mindset, are open-minded and thrive in navigating in a dynamic and sometimes complex environment.
• Acts operationally and have excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
