Danske Bank is seeking a proactive and skilled Commercial Team Lead for our Private Banking sector, a crucial component of our ambitious Forward ’28 strategy. This is your chance to play a key role in optimizing commercial activities and driving new product introductions, all while ensuring alignment across our Nordic operations.
Join the Commercial Steering Team As part of Commercial Excellence Denmark, you will lead the Private Banking team in a matrix organization with informal leadership, focusing on both maintaining excellence in current operations and pioneering new initiatives. Your role will directly influence the personal customer units, integrating efforts across Retail, Private Banking, and Realkredit Danmark. With team members from diverse specializations including Marketing, Communications, and Commercial Excellence, you will guide cross-functional collaboration to maximize customer value and drive business success, without direct HR responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Leadership: Plan and prioritize commercial activities, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Act as the primary contact for the business domain, maintaining active dialogue with leaders and key stakeholders.
- Resource Management: Efficiently manage resources and support to meet project needs.
- Team Development: Provide feedback and support for team members’ growth, leveraging our commercial Kanban structure for project management.
About you
The ideal candidate has experience working cross-functionally and managing projects. Most important is to have a holistic mindset and understand the full funnel approach we wish to establish. It’s important to be able to combine strategic segmentation with a differentiated approach across marketing and communication channels to create the best possible customer journeys. Having experience with behavioural design is a plus but not a deal breaker. We work fact-based and believe data is king in the decision-making process, hence it’s important that you have an analytical mindset and use it actively in the daily work with the team. You have strong stakeholder management skills as well as project management skills, and you can keep cool during busy times. Other important skills include:
- Customer centric mindset
- Being able to motivate and inspire people
- Preferably financial sector and thematic experience
- Collaboration and matrix leadership skills (indirect leadership)
- Fluent in Danish and English
