As the Senior Business Risk Manager, you will be at the forefront of managing and mitigating data privacy risks across our Danish operations. You'll support key projects, influence change, and ensure we remain compliant with evolving regulations – all while creating value for our customers and enhancing business efficiency.

Your key responsibilities:

• Lead Data Privacy Initiatives: Drive the implementation of new centralized processes that align with Business Banking Denmark’s operational priorities.
• Risk Communication: Serve as the point of contact for communicating changes, risks, and issues, liaising with risk management stakeholders across the business.
• Coordinate Risk Activities: Oversee and deliver data privacy risk management initiatives for Business Banking Denmark, ensuring compliance and effective risk mitigation.
• Process Support: Develop local Danish-language guidelines and ensure the implementation of key controls for new processes.
• Enhance Governance: Support the integration of personal data management into Business Banking’s data governance frameworks, contributing to the refinement of technical capabilities.
• Center of Excellence: Act as a subject matter expert in data privacy risk, driving best practices and ensuring alignment with regulatory expectations.

To succeed in this role, we believe that you have:

• Strong Communication & Stakeholder Skills: You excel at managing relationships and conveying complex issues in a clear, concise manner.
• Proven Track Record: You have experience managing data privacy risks or implementing risk management change initiatives in large financial institutions.
• Solution-Oriented Mindset: You have a passion for improving data privacy management and delivering value to the business.
• Organizational Skills: You’re highly organized and can manage multiple initiatives while maintaining attention to detail.
• Decision-Making Ability: You are confident in taking ownership of issues and driving them to resolution.

Your experience & qualifications:

• Educational Background: Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• Language Skills: Proficiency in both English and Danish (spoken and written).
• Regulatory Knowledge: In-depth understanding of GDPR and ePrivacy regulations.
• Data Management Experience: Familiarity with data management, lineage, and quality is a plus.
• Change Management Expertise: Experience implementing change within complex organizations is highly advantageous.
• Risk Management Expertise: Proven experience in implementing and managing data privacy processes, controls, and reporting.
