Senior Business Process Consultant

Join us in this role where you’ll be responsible for facilitating re-design of our global shared service center processes. Further you’ll be responsible for project management of implementation of new or redesigned processes. You’ll be working with an international organisation, ensuring that our business priorities are met by identifying opportunities to reduce complexity, streamline and digitalising processes in Finance.

You’ll be part of Execution Support where you, together with your colleagues in Ørsted Business Services (ØBS), will bring value by rethinking the existing processes and owning and delivering best in class business process management. You’ll work to accelerate transformation and put value creation at the centre of what we do. Our main shared services delivered by ØBS are: Procure-to-Pay, Order-to-Cash, Record-to-Report, Hire-to-Retire. Further the team supports the entire Finance organisation with process design and project support. You’ll be part of a team that sets new standards for the renewable energy sector.

You’ll play an important role in:
- Facilitating process discovery by identifying services and documenting processes within Finance
- Performing data-driven assessment on services and processes that can benefit from simplification, standardisation, and automation
- Partnering with Finance customers to understand their needs and make sure the Finance services are fit-for-purpose
- Supporting Finance Managers in driving their process improvement projects
- Supporting Finance Managers in placing the services and processes in our hubs
- Championing best-practice Business Process Management and developing the organisations capabilities within service definition, process governance, KPIs, continuous improvement, and definition and application of business process mapping tools
To succeed in the role, you:
- Have a bachelor’s or master’s degree or equivalent experience
- Have at least 3 years of experience working with service and process mapping, process improvements, navigating between strategic and operational stakeholders, or designing and executing finance transformations
- Strong skills in defining, documenting, communicating, and rolling out processes to all relevant stakeholders
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to analyse data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions for process improvements
- Solid experience in Business Process Management methodology, e.g. BPMN, Kata, Lean, Six-Sigma (which may include Certified Six Sigma Yellow, Green or Black belt)
- Preferably have experience in Project Management methodologies (which may include Certified PMP)
