Join our growing Power Engineering community in Stilling and shape the energy systems of the future
At DIS/CREADIS, engineering is more than design — it’s our way of solving complex challenges for a smarter, more sustainable world. We are currently looking for a Senior Power Engineer to join our team in Stilling, near Aarhus, where you’ll be part of a consultancy that thrives on collaboration, professionalism, and deep technical engagement.
Whether you’re motivated by designing intelligent grid systems, integrating renewables into complex networks, or ensuring robust HV equipment configurations, this role gives you the autonomy and platform to create impactful solutions for clients across industries.
Take Ownership of Future-Facing Power Projects
As a Senior Power Engineer, you’ll be deeply involved in both large-scale and specialized development projects — ranging from tailored power distribution for test systems to full-scale PV or wind farm infrastructure and substation design.
You’ll work independently or in close cooperation with cross-functional teams, either from our modern office in Stilling or directly on-site with clients. Projects typically span the full lifecycle — from early-phase feasibility to design, integration, and commissioning.
You’ll focus on areas such as:
- Design, modelling, and analysis of power systems across LV, MV, and HV levels
- Specification and integration of switchgear (AIS, GIS, hybrid), transformers, and auxiliary equipment
- Support of grid-connected renewable systems (PV, energy storage) and technologies like FACTS and HVDC
- Development of protection concepts, control systems, and technical documentation aligned with industry standards
- Hands-on involvement in testing, verification, and troubleshooting when required
Client dialogue, technical coordination, and system optimization will be part of your day-to-day — as will knowledge sharing within DIS/CREADIS’s growing global Power Engineering network.
What You Bring – Deep Expertise and Structured Thinking
You hold a degree in Electrical Engineering (BSc or MSc) and bring several years of professional experience from power engineering roles — ideally in consultancy, utilities, OEMs, or the renewable sector. You are structured and independent, with a natural ability to link theory with application.
We’re especially interested in candidates with experience in:
- Power simulation tools (e.g., PowerFactory, ETAP, PSCAD)
- HV/MV component specification (transformers, switchgear, filters, FACTS)
- Integration of renewables (PV, storage, hybrid systems)
- System protection and monitoring concepts
- Technical documentation, testing, and stakeholder engagement
Strong communication skills in English — and ideally Danish — are essential. You’re comfortable navigating both technical details and broader project scopes, and you know how to align stakeholders around sound engineering.
Why Join DIS/CREADIS?
Joining us means joining more than a company — you become part of a vibrant engineering consultancy known for its commitment to innovation, technical quality, and community. You’ll be onboarded through our buddy program and immersed in our Communities of Practice, where knowledge and insights are shared across offices and specialties.
We offer:
- Diverse, high-impact projects that challenge and inspire
- A flat structure with room for initiative and influence
- Access to expert colleagues and a strong peer community in power systems
- Flexibility and trust — including project-based hybrid work setups
With more than 500 employees across Denmark and internationally, we’re large enough to deliver complex solutions and small enough to know your name. Our culture is informal, ambitious, and rooted in technical pride and shared purpose.
