Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Expertise in product development: Provide expert level input in all stages of software development for loyalty related products, from initial concept through design and implementation.
- Active participation in development: Engage actively in every phase of the development lifecycle, ensuring that each stage meets the set objectives and quality standards.
- Design compliance: Ensure that all software designs adhere to the established specifications and industry standards.
- Technical development tasks: Execute development tasks including database schema design, backend development, user interface creation for web applications and management of batch processing tasks.
What We Are Looking For
We look for big thinkers. People who can drive positive change, step up and show what’s next – people with passion, can-do attitude and a hunger to learn and grow. In practice this means:
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience in loyalty application, banking industry, batch run and production support
- Experience with AngularJS is preferred, but familiarity with ReactJS is also acceptable
- Proficient in Java or Kotlin
- Proficient in utilizing the Spring framework
- Experience with software development methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, etc
- Familiarity with microservices is considered an advantage
- Experience with version control systems such as Git is a plus
- Proficient in post-production support and maintenance, including troubleshooting issues, applying patches and updates, monitoring system performance, and addressing user concerns or feedback
