The Opportunity
Cloud Services (CLS) is one of the Business Units (BU) of Worldline that supports the various Business Lines in their technical installations and RUN, within their daily activities.
The Data Protection and Compliance Officer defines, implements, and promotes consistent compliance standards and frameworks within the organization, in accordance with the group's policy. He/She assesses and monitor the effectiveness of compliance risks and the control environment within the different divisions of the company, in connection with internal clients, to identify and mitigate risks. He/She reports on various subjects to the steering committee.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
Data Protection Responsibilities (70%)
- Perform typical actions within the framework of data protection activities within the Cloud services organization.
- Provide advice and guidance to relevant stakeholders in the production service regarding data protection and GDPR requirements.
- Liaise and coordinate with the group DPO and the DPO community.
- Prepare and deliver training at all levels of the company and support the data protection correspondents.
- Install and evaluate the effectiveness of DP controls and continuously improve them.
Compliance Responsibilities (30%)
- Evaluate the current European laws and regulations in our technical environment and their potential applicability, identify and mitigate potential compliance risks on the subject.
- Address challenges related to the code of ethics and anti-corruption, identify and mitigate potential compliance risks on the subject.
- Provide advice and guidance to relevant stakeholders on ethics and anti-corruption.
- Install and evaluate the effectiveness of controls and continuously improve them.
- Ensure that the information/reports required by the global compliance office are provided in accordance with the schedule and guidelines set by the global compliance office.
- Manage relationships with other stakeholders within the Worldline organization.
- Oversee and control the proper implementation of corrective actions resulting from GIA internal audits related to compliance.
Who Are We Looking For

- University degree.
- At least 5 years of professional experience in compliance/law/risk.
- Proficiency in English (mandatory) and French.
- Technical knowledge is a plus to enable a good understanding of the cloud services activity domain.
- Good knowledge of legislation, ethics, anti-corruption, and data protection practices.
- Good understanding of topics related to IT operations, information security, and data governance practices.
- A good understanding of the technical and IT aspects of an organization.
- Experience in conducting risk-based audits and controls, including experience in quantifying, managing, and mitigating risks.
- Partnership with technical teams within the organization.
- Experience in managing controls in systems that collect and process personal data.
- Project management experience is a plus.
- A good knowledge of internal control and audit methodologies is an asset.
