Position: eCommerce Analyst Nordic
Function: Customer Development
Location: Copenhagen - Denmark
Reports to: Key Account Team Lead

Job Purpose
The CoE based eCommerce analyst is the expert on e-commerce and digital insight for the Hill’s Europe region. You will provide thought leadership and critical input for the Hill’s Europe customer development strategy through actionable insights about needs, attitudes, behaviors and purchase triggers across the pet and vet nutrition categories. Success will involve bringing insight to life to maximize impact on business decisions

Main Responsibilities

  • Improving regional performance of key European clients in cooperation with the customer and Center of Excellence; checking up with counterparts weekly
  • Checking if locally translated eCommerce efforts are aligned with the regionally dictated terms
  • Improving effectiveness and efficiency of online path-to-purchase initiatives by utilizing learning across data sources (incl. counterparts)
  • Monitoring web shops (competitors and partners) on a daily basis to identify problems and opportunities
  • Sourcing, organizing, conducting and reporting in-depth analyses of diverse data (e.g., web shop pages, e-commerce data sets, shopper loyalty card data, market share scan, point of sale and other syndicated sources) to identify problems and opportunities
  • Establishing and sustaining strong relationships with customer insight, marketing and third party suppliers (syndicated data, data mining company, online specialists etc.) to stay on top of emerging insights and tools in this area
  • Devising new ideas and creating several variations for campaigns and executing the campaign in collaboration with the Center of Excellence
  • Identifying objectives, designing and implementing projects to build understanding of ecommerce and digital for the key stakeholders a) Europe region b) country eCommerce & analytics teams and c) priority customer teams
  • Integrating brand strategies and priorities, customer strategies, and fact-based insights to create persuasive customer-centric campaigns that achieve Hill’s and customers’ joint business objectives

Qualifications

  • BS/BA degree or equivalent required
  • Strong computer skills in Excel, Word, Power Point
  • At least 1-2 years of experience in Digital Marketing or eCommerce
  • Fluency in Local language and English

Expected Areas of Skills

  • 1-2 years of CPG analytics experience preferred
  • Demonstrable experience in dashboard building
  • Experience working directly with retailers is an advantage
  • Travel Requirements
  • Expected percentage of travel: Up to 20%
