On behalf of a prominent pharmaceutical company, PharmaRelations is seeking a Medical Lead in Cardiovascular Diseases. This is a long-term consulting opportunity for an experienced professional ready to shape medical strategies and establish strong scientific leadership in the field of cardiovascular medicine.
Your Role:
As a Medical Lead, you will play a crucial role in driving medical strategy, ensuring alignment with business objectives, and serving as the subject matter expert (SME) in cardiovascular diseases. You will engage with Key Medical Experts (KOLs), healthcare professionals, and cross-functional teams to deliver impactful medical initiatives, evidence generation, and advocacy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead knowledge transfer initiatives to communicate clinical insights and research data to Key Medical Experts, fostering understanding and engagement.
- Develop and execute the Medical Affairs Strategy in alignment with global goals, addressing local market dynamics.
- Plan and operationalize evidence generation projects in collaboration with Nordic teams, ensuring data meets scientific and business needs.
- Engage in scientific discussions with healthcare professionals about pipeline assets, maintaining regulatory and compliance standards.
- Act as the scientific leader in the therapeutic area, influencing guidelines and driving impactful data dissemination.
- Collaborate with Market Access and other cross-functional teams to align strategies across medical engagement and brand advocacy.
- Oversee medical initiatives throughout the product lifecycle, ensuring timely and effective execution.
Desired Qualifications:
- Advanced degree in natural sciences (MD, PhD, or similar qualifications are an advantage).
- Proven ability to lead knowledge transfer and facilitate scientific engagement with KOLs.
- Strong strategic mindset and experience in cross-functional collaboration.
- Demonstrated expertise in evidence generation and medical project planning.
- High standards of scientific integrity and a strong understanding of compliance regulations.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to simplify complex scientific data.
- Deep knowledge of the healthcare system, patient pathways, and market landscape.
- Proficiency in a Nordic language and strong English communication skills.
