Do you have experience in HR and are you a People Manager motivated by leadership responsibilities? If so, you might be the HR Manager we are looking for to lead our HR team in Thailand.

We have an ambitious agenda, and your primary focus will be managing a team of four dedicated employees and ensuring the high quality of our HR services.

The successful candidate will report directly to the Managing Director and the position is based at VIKING's production facilities in the Laem Chabang Industrial Estate, where we currently employ 800 people.

About the position
We are seeking a passionate and experienced HR Manager to join our team and help us continue to build a positive and productive work environment.

In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that we remain Best in Class. This will involve a strong focus on leadership and development of the department, but we also expect a hands-on approach to daily operations.

In close cooperation with the team, your primary responsibilities will be:

• Managing the team and the staffing process, including recruiting, interviewing, hiring, and onboarding
• Developing and implementing HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy
• Ensuring job descriptions are up to date and compliant with all regulations
• Maintaining and improving Company Regulations and HR policies, ensuring they are updated and applied consistently
• Maintaining and enhancing HR systems and processes in SAP
• Providing counseling and guidance for employees when necessary
• Maintaining company organization charts and employee directory
• Handling personal files, including training records for all staff

We will, of course, ensure that you receive thorough training to match the needs of the position.

Your entry into the position
The ideal candidate has proven working experience as an HR Manager from a similar position. Furthermore, you are people-oriented and results-driven. Initiative and independent decision-making are also a natural part of your work style.

Additionally, we prefer if you have:

• Proven experience with Human Resources metrics
• Strategic thinking and leadership capabilities
• Ability to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels within the company
• Proficiency in HR systems and databases
• Exceptional active listening, negotiation, and presentation skills
• Comprehensive knowledge of labor law and HR best practices
• High proficiency in written and spoken English
• Familiarity with SAP is advantageous

On a personal level, you are empathetic and a team player who can motivate and build trusting relationships. Visible and present leadership is highly prioritized.

Further, you enjoy working with people from a variety of cultures and backgrounds and are eager to take on new tasks and challenges.
