The Opportunity
Hitachi Energy is looking for a Senior Regional Treasury Specialist to support our Group Treasury Team.
This role will be part of the Global Treasury Operations team based in Sweden. This is a very diverse role with broad Treasury responsibilities within an international and diverse landscape.
You as a Senior Regional Treasury Specialist, will be part of Hitachi Energy’s global function and reporting to the Head of Northern Europe Treasury Cluster, you are responsible for advising the growing business in various treasury matters, focusing on foreign exchange risk and managing its impacts as well as setting guidelines and processes to ensure a highly effective treasury framework in the region.
How you'll make an impact
- Consulting the growing business on various treasury matters, especially foreign exchange risk management and the various impacts coming from it
- Communicate and align with business stakeholders treasury priorities with business priorities and manage existing internal relationships
- Using the global treasury management system and ERP (SAP S4/Hana) in order to ensure smooth execution of FX Risk Management activities
- Support of cash management activities to ensure sufficient liquidity for all legal entities in the region
- Interact with the treasury headquarter to coordinate and ensure smooth execution of all treasury related activities (risk and cash management) especially for foreign exchange risk management in large projects
- Establish and maintain a treasury reporting for a full portfolio of large projects including cash collection status and efficiency of hedging strategies
- Be on top of economic market developments in the region to provide regular updates to the business as well as hold educational sessions to various stakeholders for treasury topics.
Your background
- 5+ years of experience in Corporate Treasury or a bank with a strong foreign exchange background and relevant professional education (AMCT, other treasury; or finance master degree)
- Familiar with long term project business and related treasury topics (foreign exchange, interest rates, Inflation)
- Fluent English (additional languages welcome)
- Profound knowledge on IT applications (SAP S4/Hana, Excel, Power BI, TMS)
- Strong organization, prioritization and negotiation skills with a resilient personality
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
- Ability to foster excellent working relationships with internal and external counterparts at all levels
