Your role
As a Software Development Manager, you will manage and mentor up to 15 Software Developers across multiple development teams. You will play a pivotal role in shaping and refining our development processes, tools, and technologies while promoting a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence. You will work closely together with the architect team to develop and implement our technology strategy to meet the desired position set by our Product Management team.

As part part of an experienced leadership team for the overall product development, you will work to continuously enhance our development pipeline, optimizing productivity and ensuring high-quality deliveries. You will play an important role in developing the capabilities to enable us to develop products and solutions for future customer needs.
Key responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and empower Software Developers to create and maintain a collaborative, high-performing team environment
• Plan, coordinate, and oversee software development activities to meet functionality, quality, and timeline goals
• Maintain clear communication and alignment with customer projects and the support organization
• Drive ongoing improvements and compliance in software development practices, including design, integration, testing, and validation
• Collaborate with the IT department to ensure an effective and efficient toolchain

Your profile
We’re looking for a leader who is passionate about software engineering and thrives on developing both people and processes. You may currently be a senior Software Developer or System Architect with experience in informal or formal leadership, ready to take the next step into a formal managerial role.

What you bring

• A degree in Software Engineering or a related field
• Experience from leading software development teams and optimizing tools, processes, and methodologies
• A strong foundation in software engineering, with the ability to inspire, guide, and develop a team
• Curiosity towards new technologies, tools, processes, etc.
• Excellent communication skills, with fluency in English (written and spoken)
• Experience working in a global, cross-functional environment is a plus

Our offices are located in the attractive Sønderborg area with easy access from the motorway and a beautiful view of Alssund.

Candidates must be able to obtain a security clearance from the Danish Defence Intelligence Service. This entails that candidates, as a minimum, have had residency within NATO/EU for the last 7 years.
