You will work with certification and consulting in the field of ATEX products. That is products for use in areas where there is a risk of having an explosive atmosphere. A Job with Variety, Personal Freedom, and Client Interaction
As an ATEX Consultant, you’ll become part of a dedicated team of 12 highly skilled colleagues. In this role, you’ll focus on safety and certification of equipment used in explosive environments. It’s a position where technical expertise and responsibility go hand in hand with exciting tasks and a varied workday.

No two days are the same with us. Here’s an example of how your week might look:

• Monday: Start your week in the office preparing for an upcoming certification project.
• Tuesday and Wednesday: Travel to Sweden to meet a client and certify their equipment. During the visit, you’ll gain insight into advanced technology and exciting projects.
• Thursday: Back at the office, you’ll document findings from the client visit and meet with another company for a productive discussion about certifying new equipment.
• Friday: Spend the day following up on projects, collaborating with colleagues, and preparing for next week’s tasks.

Your responsibilities will include certifying equipment for explosive atmospheres (ATEX) and advising clients on relevant ATEX requirements for their products. Additionally, you’ll work on measurement tasks and conduct physical testing of products in our laboratories or on-site at the client’s location. You’ll also prepare test setups and document the results of your tests.

Who Are You?
You likely have a background as an electrical engineer, or similar technical expertise that has sparked your interest in electrical safety and compliance. Experience with compliance, safety requirements, certification or quality assurance is a plus.

You’re curious, proactive, and eager to learn – even if ATEX is new to you. You excel at building relationships and communicating technical results, both verbally and in writing. You are proficient in English, and familiarity with Danish is an advantage.

Become a part of the Danish Technological Institute
In the Certification & Inspection team, we also work with CE marking of machinery and process plants, risk assessments, training and courses, as well as type testing according to ATEX-directive, Machinery directive , and Pressure equipment directive . Additionally, we handle ATEX initial electrical inspections according EN60079-14, accident investigations on stationary and mobile machinery, and systems for machines and process plants.
