Our Technical solutions team is expanding, and we are seeking an in-team Senior Audio Design Engineer who will work with internal and external technical experts to develop tailored acoustic solutions for our VIP projects targeting exclusive installation projects.

Key focus area includes development and visualization of acoustic excellence for Bang & Olufsen VIP projects on a global scale. This role will play a key role in defining our future Bang & Olufsen certified acoustic system solutions.

Key responsibilities
As our Senior Audio Design Engineer, you will be working in an agile format to define solutions, tools and visualizations for the acoustics design, implementation and visualization of our VIP projects worldwide and you will:

• Identify and develop technical solutions for Bang & Olufsen tailored acoustical design
• Define acoustic visualization tools
• Develop and gatekeep Bang & Olufsen EASE files for all relevant products
• Design and visualize acoustic solutions for VIP projects
• Support sales with bespoke acoustical speaker placement, room acoustics, measurements, calibrations, certifications and acoustical floorplan visualizations
• Collaborate with technical teams to define solutions
• Make and oversee documentation of implementations
• Room measurements, System calibrations and certifications
• 3D Rendering, animations & visualizations

Moreover, you bring:

• A background or education in acoustical engineering
• 2 years’ experience in a similar position, developing audio design with focus on room acoustics, measurements and calibrations
• Proficient 3D visualization skills
• Deep experience developing acoustical designs using EASE files or similar for visualizations
• Effective planning and organizing abilities
• Great collaboration skill, both internal and external – able to work with remote teams globally
• A solution-oriented mindset
• An optimistic perspective and a willingness to learn
• An openness to work across different diverse teams and cultures
• Personable and able to navigate professional contact with VIP customers

Compensation: Comprehensive salary and benefits package

Location: Our technical teams and test environments are based in our Struer offices, Denmark. Ideally this candidate would also be based in our Struer office to work regularly with the team and equipment, but location can be flexible for the right candidate

Start date: As soon as possible

Travel: Approx. 20%
