SAP Sustainability Solution Architect

We’re looking for an experienced SAP Sustainability Solution Architect to lead the sustainability domain architecture for global S/4HANA implementations across Nordic. In this role, you’ll shape how sustainability is built into the very core of our client’s business model , across systems, data, and processes.

What You’ll Do
Solution Architecture & Design

• Lead the sustainability domain architecture for global SAP S/4HANA programs.
• Design template-based solutions for deployment across multiple geographical regions.
• Architect SAP sustainability solutions such as Control Tower, Footprint Management, Green Token, Responsible Design & Production, Data Exchange, etc. and other embedded sustainability processes.
• Define the master data architecture for sustainability-related objects.
• Provide strategic technical recommendations and drive key design decisions.
• Advise on new sustainability requirements , including integration with external solutions.

Technical Leadership

• Architect third-party integrations to support sustainability and compliance requirements (e.g., EUDR).
• Lead custom development initiatives and ensure alignment with clean core principles.
• Collaborate closely with technical experts to evaluate design options and ensure architectural integrity.
• Review and approve functional design documents, guiding the implementation team through configuration, testing, and deployment.

Stakeholder Management

• Partner with business stakeholders to understand and translate sustainability requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Collaborate with domain and enterprise architects across multiple workstreams.
• Provide technical context and input to program and workstream leads on planning, sequencing, and dependencies.
• Drive estimation and impact analysis of new technical work based on solution complexity.

Qualification
What You Bring

• Strong technical understanding of SAP integration with external systems.
• Familiarity with Cloud services such as Azure and integration points is a plus.
• Broad SAP expertise — ideally across Procurement, MM, and Supply Chain.
• Solid grasp of end-to-end business processes across modules.
• Proven experience designing or leading large-scale S/4HANA programs.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills — able to bridge business vision with technical execution.
