We are a SaaS vendor specialized in providing innovative software products and solutions for leading international manufacturing companies such as ABB, Jaguar Land Rover, John Deere, Grundfos, Vestas, Siemens, or Danfoss, helping them define, sell, and produce complex, configurable products
In your role as Sales Engineer, you will support Sales with technical expertise throughout the sales process – demos, POC’s, RFX’s, etc. and closely interact with Professional Services, Product Development, and partners. Using both technical and business knowledge, you will work on opportunities for prospects and existing customers.
Your responsibilities
- Collaborate with Sales (Direct Sales and/or Partner Sales). Coordinating and prioritizing activities on a day-to-day basis, and conducting joint meetings with potential customers or new opportunities with existing customers
- Understand clients’ challenges and requirements. Prepare meetings, workshop presentations, or similar from the Presales side and deliver focused technical presentations and solution demos
- Stay up to date on Configit products, and how to position and communicate, including roadmaps and upcoming new features
- Collaborate with Professional Services. Solution Architects for defining solutions, Project Management for progress on ongoing projects, and Consultants for deep customer technical information
- Communicate with representatives of prospects, customers, and partners
- Engage with existing customers to offer the best Configit solution
Your profile
- Bachelor or Master level in Engineering, IT, Computer Science, or similar
- Developer experience, e.g. C#, Java, React, SQL to be used for creating demos using customer data
- 5+ years of working experience in presales, consultancy, technical sales, or similar customer-facing roles in the software industry
- Experience with complex IT systems (ERP, CRM, CAD, PLM, etc.)
- Ability to combine technical elements with business needs and business requirements of clients
- Having a solid knowledge of manufacturing and configuration is a plus
- Strong presentation, communication, and cooperation skills
- Willing to travel (20 – 30%)
- Preferably you live in the Atlanta area
