Lead developer – Nykredit Data Platform

For this role, we are looking for someone to join Nykredit – one of the biggest Danish financial institutions BEC Poland works closely with.

Nykredit is both a bank, asset management and a mortgage provider owned by an association of customers. Being customer-owned, they are in a unique position to give something back to their customers when they are doing well. Together they can simply do more for their customers and for society.

This position is based at our friendly office in Warsaw and you will join our Data Platform Team. We are looking for a new Lead developer to join the team tasked with evolving our Data Platform. The team consists of data and platform engineers, and owns development of various platform components which enables accelerated development of Data solutions at Nykredit.

Primary task and responsibilities include:

• Coordination of development and other activities
• Development of cloud-based data platform leveraging various Azure environment components (VMs, Azure Data Lake, CI/CD pipelines, etc.)
• Implementation of GDPR related features enabling development of compliant solutions
• Partnering with a number of internal and external stakeholders including Architects, Product Owners, Program Manager and Business stakeholders

To succeed you will have:

• An educational background (university degree) related to the position advertised (Computer Science/Mathematics/Physics)
• At least 3 years of experience as a Lead Data platform developer or Technical Leader within Azure cloud environment
• At least 6 years of experience working with data warehousing
• Experience in leading development using agile development methodologies
