Are you looking for an exciting role within Finance and Performance Management? Do you have a background that includes experience and a focus on gaining insights? Your challenges
You will join the Sales & Marketing leadership team within Finance and Performance Management. This team consists of 6 professionals who are enthusiastic about enabling the business to make the right data-driven decisions and supporting the business by communicating transparent financial figures and recommendations.

We are innovative and growth focused, both in terms of the business and the development and career progression of the team. You will join a Global Finance Organisation where you’ll gain the advantages of a global finance strategy, and shared data systems and performance metrics.

As our Lead Finance Business Partner you will support the EVP and head of region NACA (North America, CEE, APAC, Altaterra) and become a trusted sparring partner by proactively advising on operational and strategic decision support. In this role you will also work in close collaboration with Finance Directors of CEE and North America and the extended team in APAC, Altaterra.

More specifically, your primary tasks will be to :

  • Continuously monitor, assess, and drive transparency on financial performance in your area, and provide accurate and timely financial information to support management decision processes.
  • Partner with the business to analyze variances, assess performance and operational cost, and communicate key metrics and messages across the region and to the Group.
  • Coordinate the budget cycle and craft the strategic financial blueprint for the fiscal year in your region.
  • Participating in the deployment of Group projects, standardisation and optimisation initiatives and ad hoc analyses across the region.

Your Qualifications
We picture you as having great interest and experience within finance and performance management, coupled with an strategic mindset and the ability to build relationships and communicate with various stakeholders across the organisation. You are deeply committed to making an impact and you know how to leverage data analytics and collaborate effectively with other business units to improve performance. You take the initiative and are comfortable acting individually but within a positive collaborative team environment.

Moreover, we expect that you:

  • Hold a master’s degree in Business Economics, Finance, Accounting, or similar, alongside a commercial mindset.
  • Demonstrate solid experience from a Finance, Business Partnering, Management Consulting, or Strategy function, with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Possess significant stakeholder management skills and are equally comfortable and effective in dialogue with stakeholders across all levels.
  • Have high analytical problem-solving skills.
  • Have knowledge working with financial data, ERPs, and reporting systems (VELUX uses SAP).
  • Have extensive Excel experience and the ability to handle large sets of data.

You will join a global and intercultural environment, which is why it is a prerequisite that you communicate effortlessly in English in both speech and writing.

Travel is expected to 30-40 days per year.
