We are now looking for a Legal Counsel / Senior Legal Counsel to support a transforming and extremely interesting business area responsible for e.g. payments, mobile payments, cards, cash management, open banking, trade finance and digital services to corporates. Our team is located in Denmark, Finland, Sweden and Norway, and the legal counsel we are now looking for can be located in any of these Nordic countries. As the Legal Counsel / Senior Legal Counsel, you’ll play a valuable role by providing proactive legal advice and developing our operations in a compliant manner by being a trusted partner with a good commercial understanding.

What you’ll be doing:

• Work closely with business area to find and create right legal solutions
• Provide excellent to the point legal support and advice related to product/process development/maintenance
• Draft standard customer documentation
• Provide legal support for co-operation and infrastructure agreements / arrangements
• Provide legal support to regulatory implementation

Your experience and background:

• Master’s law degree from one of the Nordic countries
• Any of the Nordic languages and fluent English language
• Minimum of 3 years relevant working experience in a financial institution or a law firm
• Knowledge of payment products and digital services, and related legislation is an advantage
