Senior Audio DSP Engineer

We’re seeking a Senior Audio Engineer with expertise in DSP and Machine Learning.

In this role, you’ll work with a team of 6 other audio engineers, taking responsibility for the audio performance of our devices and systems. Your focus will be on the digital domain, overseeing the audio signal path and audio DSP algorithms.

The team you will be part of
We’re a team of experts in Audio DSP and acoustic engineering, responsible for delivering world-class audio products. As part of our team, you’ll work in a cross-functional environment developing next-gen meeting room solutions. Some recently launched products include the Jabra Panacast 50 VBS and Jabra Speak2 75.

Your contribution is appreciated, and you will:

• Be part of product concepting and development.
• Ensure a holistic overview of the audio DSP system.
• Drive the product integration of acoustics and DSP software.
• Support audio configuration, tuning and maturing of the product with insight and knowledge of the audio algorithms.
• Debug the DSP implementation.
• Interface to Embedded Software Teams and Audio Embedded Software Teams.
• Interface to Audio Technology and Research Teams.

To succeed in the role, we imagine that you

• Hold a degree in digital audio engineering, electrical engineering, computer science, or similar.
• Have experience within DSP and Audio Product Development.
• Have a good holistic overview and understanding of the audio DSP system for audio devices such as speakerphones.
• Have experience with Echo Control and Noise Control in audio products such as speakerphones.
• Have experience and interest in training, deploying, and verifying Deep Learning solutions into products.
• Have experience in evaluating, tuning, and testing audio solutions using professional acoustic lab equipment and methods.
• Can easily understand new DSP algorithms and how they interact with the entire signal chain throughout the digital, electrical, and acoustic domain.
• Have strong skills in C and C++ programming.
• Is fluent in English.
