Your role
As a Senior CDMO Procurement Manager, you will play a crucial role in managing all procurement activities related to our portfolio of Contract Development and Manufacturing Organizations (CDMOs). Being responsible for partners in the late stages of development across the spectrum to partners contracted for commercial production you’ll be uniquely positioned to influence and shape the production strategy and landscape of LEO Pharma.
More in detail, your main tasks will include:
• Maintain and manage assigned categories and CDMOs in close collaboration with our Development and External Manufacturing organizations
• Develop and implement Supplier Relationship Management plans and be an expert in the supply market to support business needs of the CDMO network
• Lead Tenders/ RfX and negotiation processes to secure optimal terms and conditions in collaboration with key stakeholders such as R&D, Quality, Technical org., Supply chain, Legal and Finance
• Identify concrete saving opportunities and create actionable plans to drive cost optimization, contributing to the procurement targets and the bottom-line of the company
• Represent Procurement in strategic development and M&A projects
Your qualifications
To succeed in this role, we imagine that you have the following qualifications:
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering, supply chain management, finance, or similar
• Proven track record in procurement, with experience managing supplier performance, conducting negotiations, and implementing efficient procurement processes
• Keen understanding of supply market dynamics and the ability to identify concrete savings, optimization, and development opportunities
• Strong communication skills, professionalism, and a drive for high-quality deliverables setting you apart as a standout candidate
