Your responsibilities

Taking on the role of HSE Senior Specialist you will focus on developing the working environment for the Danish campus sites in collaboration with the local working environment organisations.

You will become part of the Global Quality, Health, Safety, Environment & Energy Organization in VELUX Residential Supply. We are a global, motivated, and experienced team of employees who are promoting a holistic, agile and proactive QHSE&E agenda with our partners to achieve an effective and sustainable development of the VELUX Business. You will have the possibility to work out of Østbirk or Hørsholm.

You will have many key internal colleagues to cooperate with across functions, while enjoying a great deal of freedom in spotting and effectuating the necessary changes. Your primary tasks will be to:

• Create, develop and manage VELUX policies and standards
• Ensure implementation and compliance with VELUX policies and standards
• Steer projects and campaigns
• Train managers and new employees in VELUX working environment courses
• Ensure reporting and investigation of occupational accidents and near misses
• Facilitate HSE decision making- and collaboration forums
• Support the AMO organization of the individual Campus sites

Your qualifications

You are motivated and independent, getting energy from working in a knowledge intensive team based on cooperation and with a desire to move things forward. You have an inquisitive nature, working systematically and documenting your findings and sharing your knowledge. We also expect that you:

• Have several (ideally 5+) years of experience from working with HSE and the Danish Working Environment Act, likely both with office and white collars in production or perhaps warehouse environments
• Are able to be encouraging, coaching and nudging, but also firm when it comes to compliance with legislation and VELUX standards

You will be collaborating with many nationalities across the VELUX organisation and therefore good communication skills as well as fluency in English and Danish both orally and in writing are required.
