Lead Software Engineer

What is the job about?
The Lead SW engineer will play a key role in the digital innovation and development activities in the area of HVAC OEM (original equipment manufacturer) and collaborate with stakeholders across the organization.

It's also important to discuss observations with the Lead SW architect to ensure that decisions are made with a comprehensive understanding of the situation. As a developer, it is important to make informed decisions within your trained area of expertise. Consistent communication and collaboration will help ensure the success of the HVAC OEM business and software development projects.

Your main responsibilities:

• Develop application SW - implementation of embedded-/cloud- features (for prototype and production)
• Business support, e.g. technical sales staff and customer interactions
• Define & drive end to end solutions from a customer perspective and support system integration and quality in collaboration with other teams in Grundfos
• Tools (ex. variant creation) - maintenance and development of next generation

Your background:
We imagine that you have:

• The Lead SW Engineer holds a relevant education, including relevant quality assurance methods, related to development of embedded/cloud solutions
• Experience with a cloud platform (Microsoft Azure, AWS or Google Cloud Platform)
• Experience with Snowflake, Azure Storage Accounts, Azure Data Factory and/or Azure IoT Hub would be nice to have
• Programming experience within Std. C and Python
• GIT – or similar version control system
• Curious, knowledge seeking and proud to represent the top level within engineering skills.
• Should be highly collaborative with colleagues - TEAMwork!
• Experience with embedded and cloud software is a must, and the engineer must show appropiate diligence to cover needs for such.
• As Lead SW Engineer, the Engineer can participate in meetings with business relevant stakeholders, related to SW functionality and quality
