The systems engineers for Radiometer are responsible for integrating the different high-end technologies within mechanics, electrochemistry and chemistry into world class consumables enabling diagnostic measurements through our instruments in hospitals all over the world.

This position is part of the Sensors, solutions and accessories development which is part of Radiometer Global R&D located in Brønshøj, Copenhagen and will be hybrid. At Radiometer, our vision is to improve global healthcare with reliable, fast, and easy patient diagnoses.

You will be a part of the Product integration and testing team and report to the Director responsible for product integration of consumables. If you thrive in a versatile role and want to be part of setting the standard for our newly established integration team —read on.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Collaborate with highly skilled specialists within multiple technology areas to develop and sustain in-vitro diagnostic devices.
  • Work with systems engineering; defining the systems, set requirements and drive the needed verifications
  • Take design ownership for selected products
  • Participate in establishing new work processes for our newly established team and work with stakeholders to establish roles and responsibilities
  • Take a holistic view and ensure the right product for our customers
  • Work as technical project manager on smaller scale projects

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • Bachelor of Science or Master of Science or similar within Systems engineering, Biomedical engineering or similar
  • Multiple years of experience working with Systems engineering
  • Experience working with product development in a regulated industry
  • English (written and spoken)

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

  • Experience with Design Control and Medical Devices
  • Experience working with design for manufacturing and transfer to production
  • Experience working with project management
