Do you have a profound understanding of and interest in production processes and flows? Do you want a position with a god mix of office work and being present in our production environment? Do you want to utilize your structured approach, attention to details and ability to prioritize tasks to ensure the daily execution of production planning in a constantly changing environment?Then you might be our new Production Planner for our production facilities in Østbirk – our competence center for window production of roof windows!

Your challenges
As our new Production Planner, your key focus will be on daily planning tasks thereby playing an active part that our production runs as smoothly as possible. You are a key player in ensuring the best possible flow of goods to and from the factory.

Your daily work will involve collaboration and interaction with the central planning function in VELUX and your colleagues in our production in Østbirk, e.g. Production Managers, Shop Floor Managers as well as Logistics and Procurement. Furthermore, you are responsible for implementing and applying SAP solutions that ensure efficient production planning end-to-end aligned with production processes and support functions.

In addition to the above, you will also

• maintain master data for the responsible area.
• participate in performance meetings.
• be an active part of test runs and new product introduction.
• participate in projects relating to your area of responsibility.

It is a great advantage if you are also able to identify optimization potential of processes and systems for the benefit of the factory supply chain.

Your qualifications
It is required and important that you

• have a keen interest in and good understanding of production processes and flows.
• have a relevant education, preferably within production management or logistics.
• are able to remain calm and keep the overview in situations where things don’t go as planned, and where things may be quite hectic.
• able to see through complex issues.
• are able to have a conversation in Danish (much of your interaction in our production will be in Danish) and proficient in written and spoken English.

It is seen as an advantage if you

• bring experience from a similar role, or a role working in the vicinity of production planning.
• bring an analytical mindset and enjoy working with data.
• have experience working in SAP (mainly production and logistic modules), including master data, planning board and capacity planning

In addition, you dare to challenge us on our current processes, to bring new ideas to the table, and to help find solutions for our current obstacles.
