Context
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Finance Application Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of financial applications, including billing, accounting, and invoicing systems, with expertise in SaaS environments. As a Finance Application Specialist, you will work internally with our teams to optimize our financial processes and systems.

About The MISSION

• Conduct regular in-depth analysis of our internal financial processes, systems, and business requirements to ensure our financial solutions are optimized to improve end-users efficiency.
• Assist in selecting, implementing, and customizing financial applications to meet our specific needs.
• Work closely with application vendors and internal teams to deliver financial applications change requests and help prioritize them in close collaboration with the business stakeholders.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and document business processes related to our financial applications usage.
• Configure and customize financial systems to align with our business processes and objectives.
• Provide expert advice and recommendations on best practices for financial management within our SaaS environment.
• Develop and deliver training sessions to educate internal teams on the use of financial applications and ensure smooth adoption.
• Provide ongoing support to our end-users as well as maintenance services for internal financial systems, working closely with our application vendors and internal technical teams to troubleshoot issues and resolve technical challenges.

• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments in financial technology to enhance our suite of financial solutions.

About YOU

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field. Master's degree preferred.
• 3+ years of experience in financial consulting, with a focus on SaaS applications.
• Strong knowledge of financial applications, including billing, accounting, invoicing, HR, and payroll systems.
• Experience with financial data warehouse and reporting.
• Experience with CRM and Marketing systems and understanding of their integration with financial systems is a plus.
• Proficiency in business analysis and software configuration methodologies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with internal teams at all levels of the organization.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to translate complex business requirements into technical solutions.
• Proven track record of driving successful outcomes for internal projects.
• Fluency in English and French.
