We are looking for an HSE specialist who will work operationally in our projects with all aspect related to HSE and risk management from engineering to site phase. We are currently starting very exciting projects and as a HSE specialist you will be working on both renewable and electrification projects. The position requires some technical understanding. In the role, you will be responsible for actively contribute by supporting and advising the project management to ensure that the project complies with all conditions related to HSE and risk. You will follow up to ensure that all HSE-related activities are carried out in accordance with both internal and external requirements. You will work closely with all stakeholders in the projects to establish effective HSE and risk processes. We are looking for someone with experience from construction and/or the offshore industry. It`s an advantage with experience from working at site and risk management in projects as well as knowledge of HSE in design. The position is located at Fornebu and you will report to the business HSE Manager.
Your responsibilities
- Support, guide, and advise the project management to ensure compliance with all HSE aspects in the projects.
- Actively contribute to the project's HSE risk management.
- Evaluate the suppliers' HSE management systems and plans and ensure that these are followed.
- Contribute to continuous improvement for the projects and the organization.
- Actively promote awareness of HSE by carrying out campaigns and risk mitigating measures
- Be clear, visible and support the management team in being good role models for HSE.
- Be a motivator to promote a good HSE culture.
- Some travel must be expected.
Your background
- Fluent Norwegian and English (both oral and written).
- Experience from oil and gas and/or construction projects.
- Relevant engineering or formal HSE education.
- Minimum 5 years' experience as HSE
- Experience from audit management.
- Experience from incident investigation.
- Responsible and reliable
- Driver and motivator in HSE work
- Structured, independent and with high work capacity
- Good communication skills oral and written.
- Ability to strengthen a HSE culture.
- For the sake of projects and our clients, it may be a prerequisite that the candidate in this position fulfills requirements for security clearance, which includes Norwegian citizenship.
