Construction Planner

Your position
In your role as Construction Planner, you will be a valuable member of the newly established Consulting Services Department which is set to face tremendous growth in the coming years. Here, you will ensure strong execution of the Project Control Management Plan for a major energy project for one of our most prominent clients.

Above all, your work will make a real change for the global energy sector.

Location: Your workplace will be at one of Semco's offices in either Denmark - Poland - UK. The position is full-time and 30-50 travel days per year offshore and onshore to clients should be expected.

Your tasks & responsibilities
As a Construction Planner you will be responsible to Apply the Project Controls Management Plan of the Project and ensure compliance with the contract’s requirements.

Your tasks will include but are not limited to:

• Apply the Project Controls Management Plan of the Project
• Ensure the Project’s compliance with Contract’s requirements related to the Programme.
• Be aware of the scope of the Project.
• Calculate and report the actual Construction progress and update of the Construction “S” curves.
• Weekly preparation and issuance of the Construction Weekly Report.
• Be aware of the overall Programme of the Subcontractors
• Inform and analyse about any Construction delays or about any failures to comply with the timescale of the Project and make proposals for improvements.
• Prepare recovery plans when necessary.
• Analysis of the critical path.
• Calculate the Project’s Performance following the Earned Value Methodology.
• Carry out weekly meetings with project team, to ensure that updated information of the project is permanently available, and collaborate in the activation of the other areas, to facilitate compliance with deadline objectives.
• Review and monitor the Subcontractor’s manpower and performance.
• Incorporate into the Programme, when necessary, the Change Orders approved.
• Monitor the BOQ of the subcontractors, through the information provided by the Construction Department.
• Conduct analysis and reports at request

Your profile & qualifications
We are looking for a person who enjoy having responsibility and who is motivated by a high volume of tasks.

You are a planner who is eager and passionate about to ensure an efficient project execution and thereby wants to leave a personal mark on the project.

To succeed in this position, we imagine that you have:

• At least 5 years’ experience as Construction Planner – experience from Construction or Industrial Industry is desirable.
• Proficient in Primavera Project Planner – P6.
• Experience with Deltek Acumen Fuse and Primavera Risk Analyser – it is not mandatory, but desirable.
• Exceptional organizational skills and impeccable attention to detail.
• Proficient analysing skills.
• Expert proficiency with Microsoft Office and desktop software.
• Able to design and edit graphic presentations and materials.
• Strong executer skills.
• Proficient analysing skills.
• Extensive experience in managing diverse stakeholders.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Fluent in English.
