Project and Optimization Lead, E-commerce

We are searching for a motivated and dedicated Project and Optimization Lead to join our E-commerce Distribution & Projects Team to help us drive our projects and optimize the processes within logistics and marketplaces operations.

OUR TEAM
As a Project and Optimization Lead you will be part of an international and collaborative team – the core team of 4 people located in Denmark and 10 people in the extended team located both in Denmark & Amsterdam. The Distribution & Projects Team is one of the key departments servicing all BESTSELLER brands, interacting cross-collaborative with most other business areas, and with the responsibility of more than 15+ million parcels on the road yearly and a budget on the upper side of 35M EUR.

IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL:

• Lead projects related to country- and marketplace expansions as well as end-to-end customer journey
• Bridge projects plans within logistics and marketplace operations to our technical back-end leads (Product Owners)
• Monitor progress of optimization projects within our distribution portfolio
• Be the link between Distribution & Warehousing IT
• Streamline processes between Distribution & internal E-com Teams as well as all BESTSELLER brands and external stakeholders
• Have a lot of freedom within shaping the role, processes and PM tools

Furthermore, we expect that you have the following qualifications:

Hard skills & Experience

• Preferably 1 year of experience within the field of Project Management, but we also encourage recent graduates to apply for the position
• Relevant education background within the field of Project Management, Business Administration etc.
• Super user in Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint & MS Teams
• Experience in using Jira Software is an advantage
• Fluent in spoken and written English

• Thrives in working with multiple stakeholders
• Fast in adaptation to new environments
• Comfortable in communicating with employees and external stakeholders on different levels of the organization

WORKPLACE
Our team is based in our headquarters in Aarhus C and Brande in Denmark. You are free to choose one of these locations as your primary workplace. However, we expect that you will be present at your secondary workplace at least once a week.
