Finance Business Partner - Viby

We are currently looking to recruit a Finance Business Partner to join our Danish Logistics Finance team in Viby, Denmark. You will be a member of the Global Logistics Finance Team with colleagues in UK, Sweden, Germany and Finland. Arla’s Logistics operations covers Inbound milk collection, outbound distribution, intermediate transportation and Warehousing.

About the role
As a Logistics Finance Business Partner, you lean in closely to the performance of the business and will:

• Actively facilitate and take part in driving performance within Logistics Denmark with special focus on Inbound Logistics.
• Be responsible for the month end close and translate these into strong recommendations to further enhance the performance of the business.
• Ensure a solid quarterly forecasting and continuous development of the forecasting process
• Constitute as the financial sparring partner to the logistic operations team, and also colleagues working in similar roles in other markets.
• Actively engage and support in capital investment (CAPEX) projects in the logistics area.
• Apply an exciting balance of both strategic projects, driving change and engagement as well as more typical financial tasks.
• Engage in the Global Logistics Finance team and take active part in the Transformation of the Performance Management Infrastructure.
• Support ad hoc business cases and evaluate potential opportunities for the organization.
• Lead sustainability efforts within the logistics Denmark Finance team, serving as the primary point of contact.

In this role you will report to the Senior Finance Manager for Denmark Logistics. You will be a part of a team with 2 other Finance Business Partners, but also collaborate with the Controlling team in Gdansk, Poland and our Global Logistics Finance team consisting of +20 finance professionals.

Who are you?
We are looking for someone who ideally has a higher degree in Economics/Business/Finance. You will have several years of experience working as a finance business partner (or similar), translating operational performance data into business cases and actions.

With excellent communication and organisation skills, you will be able to build strong relationships across the Business Partner community as well as across different sites and functions. An analytical thinker, you will be proactive and will have a desire to learn about and improve ways of working within logistics.

You will be a proficient user of all Office Applications and will have advanced Excel skills. Knowledge and experience of working with SAP would also be an advantage. Finally, fluent in English is a requirement and proficiency in a Nordic language is a strong plus.
