Senior Architect (E2E) for Arla Foods International - Aarhus or Gdansk

The International IT team is a part of Arla IT with more than 400 people located in Denmark, Germany, Poland and UK. In your role as Senior End-to-End (E2E) Architect, you will be a key player in our organization and responsible for inspiring, maturing and delivering strong solutions to our International business through our delivery setup in Arla IT. In brief, you will be overall responsible for the end-to-end architecture in International.

How you will make an impact
In this role, your primary responsibility will be to gain a deep understanding of our international system landscape and how it differs from the rest of Arla Foods. By collaborating closely with our team of IT architects, you will be responsible for creating solutions that span the entire value chain, from production to sales. You will also identify existing solutions within Arla IT that can be leveraged to benefit our international operations.

In addition, the role includes:

• Using your extensive knowledge, you will play a key role in the development and maturation of new projects, working closely with the appropriate delivery streams in Arla IT.
• Together with the business, you will make informed decisions on which solutions to implement, ensuring the delivery of desired business value.
• You will have the overall responsibility for the end-to-end architecture, encompassing multiple cloud technologies and collaborative applications.
• You will set the technical direction for your area and collaborate with a group of solution architects to ensure a global, standardized, and scalable architectural design across our markets.

You will be based in the Arla IT department in Viby, Denmark or Gdansk, Poland, with some occasional travel activities (approximately 20-30 days per year).

What will make you successful
To succeed in this role, we imagine that you:

• Are a highly experienced IT architect and have proven yourself in the area of Enterprise-grade applications and platforms over the past years. With your technical insights, you can provide valuable guidance and navigate in a complex system landscape.
• Have the ability to estimate the implementation of a possible solution and you’re not afraid to go into the details yourself.
• Have a knowledge of advanced analytics, data-driven insights, and IIOT is increasingly important for future designs, especially as AFI focuses on digitalizing their supply chain
• Having experience in the pharmaceutical industry is a significant advantage, as AFI is investigating the fields of this industry.

As a person, you are driven and motivated and approach all tasks with a positive attitude. You should enjoy working independently and display an eagerness to work in an ambitious environment where technical insight together with strong collaboration skills makes you able to achieve great results.
