About Niels Brock International Department
We are a well-established educational institution in the heart of Copenhagen with a long history in vocational education, high school programs, and higher education. Our international department is experiencing significant growth in our English bachelor's programs and MBA programs, and we are therefore seeking an ambitious and visionary leader to strengthen our academic direction.
Position Overview
As Pro Vice-Chancellor (Academic Affairs), you will be part of our talented leadership team and report directly to the Deputy Vice-Chancellor. You will have the opportunity to shape strategies, create an inspiring learning environment, and enhance our international collaborations.
Your responsibilities include:
- Academic Leadership: Provide strategic direction and implement academic policies and initiatives.
- Teaching and Learning: Improve teaching quality and integrate innovative teaching methods in collaboration with our pedagogical coordinator.
- Finance and Operations: Contribute to resource allocation, and efficient resource utilization.
- Strategic Planning: Contribute to the development and implementation of strategic goals and monitor progress.
- Governance and Compliance: Ensure compliance with legislation and promote good governance practices.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in a relevant field.
- Experience in academic leadership and strategic planning.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills across cultures and disciplines.
- Ability to lead and motivate a team effectively.
- Fluent English skills - knowledge of Danish is an advantage.
Employment
Employment will be secured as per collective agreement between the Danish Ministry of Taxation and the AC trade union.
Terms of employment
The position is full-time, and you will start as soon as possible or at the latest on August 1st. Salary and employment will be in accordance with the applicable collective agreement.
