New Product Development Process Manager

We are seeking an experienced New Product Development Process Manager to join the global product team in BoConcept.
In this role you will lead and drive all activities within our design and product development process but also play an instrumental role in aligning go-to-market activities with Marketing and Sales to ensure successful launch towards consumers and franchisee across the globe.
As a strong communicator, problem solver, and adept milestone tracker, you will collaborate cross-functionally to optimize sub-processes and drive efficiency throughout the organization.
Reporting to the Global Product Portfolio Manager, and in close collaboration with Chief Product Officer, your role with entail seamless coordination across all functions.

Play an active role in executing our strategy with timely deliverables.

You will act as the key link between cross-functional teams to ensure project scope, effective communication and collaboration.
The main tasks will be:

  • Create milestone plans for each introduction across departments and ensure that all stakeholders are aware of and work from the plan.
  • Proactively organize upcoming month's milestones, ensuring alignment with project objectives and deadlines.
  • Deliver informative updates cross-functional, provide solutions-oriented insights, track and report milestones to stakeholders.
  • Efficiently prioritize tasks, taking into account project timelines and business objectives, to ensure timely delivery.
  • Proactively identify and mitigate risks to minimize disruptions to the go-to-market process.
  • Drive solution-oriented approach to challenges across functions, ensuring that everyone is aware of the challenges and solution to overcome.
  • Ensure continuous improvement initiatives, to optimize processes and boost efficiency.
  • Optimize and document all processes to be implemented in the project system MONDAY.
  • Drive change management when implementing this new tool to the Core Team, ensuring smooth transition and adoption.

Additionally, you will be responsible for:

  • Leading weekly forward-looking tracking meetings, where you will hold each department accountable for their deliverables as well as providing progress updates, review milestones and timelines, and identify decisions and tasks for follow-up.
  • Conducting daily coordination across functions, managing task lists and project prioritization, and ensuring ongoing task follow-up and adjustment of priorities as needed.
  • You will also lead the process for running updates and cost engineering on existing designs to gain profitability in the value chain.

  • Project management experience: Proven experience in project management, especially in product development and go-to-market processes.
  • Communication skills: Excellent communicator who can effectively collaborate with team members, stakeholders, and other key stakeholders.
  • Leadership skills: The ability to lead indirectly, motivate, and inspire a core team to achieve common goals.
  • Organizational skills: The ability to organize and prioritize tasks, resources, and schedules to ensure project success.
  • Proactivity: A proactive approach to problem-solving and risk management to ensure that the project remains on track and delivered on time
  • Furniture Technical knowledge: Will be an advantage but not a demand.
  • Tools: Experience using project management tools and methods, PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Language: You act fluently in English – Danish would be an advantage.

You will become part of an informal working environment, with a great atmosphere. As a modern company, BoConcept is offering flexible working conditions with freedom to work from home, from our office hub in Copenhagen or in our BoConcept Headquarter office in DK-7400 Herning. We will require that you travel to Herning once a week for our weekly NPD tracking meeting.
